2014 PROJECT HOMELESS CONNECT
ANIMAL SERVICES
256 volunteer hours were dedicated to Pet Services from Wednesday through Friday.
Approximately 89 attendees came through Pet Services.
116 Animals were seen by Albert Dorsett, DVM and Kate List,
DVM. 89 dogs and 27 cats.
211 vaccinations were administered (99 rabies & 112 core).
38 pets were groomed by Scott Goodnight and Gary Johnston.
34 dogs and 8 cats were given vouchers for free spay/neuter surgery at the Flathead Spay & Neuter Task Force.
3,083 lbs. of dog and cat food were distributed, 798 pounds of kitty litter, along with tennis balls, Frisbees, squeaky toys, animal beds, rope toys, grooming brushes, leashes, collars, and LOTS of treats.
Coordinating partners: Flathead Spay & Neuter Task Force provided veterinarian fees, NCF paperwork, spay/neuter vouchers, carport tent, and volunteers; Flathead County Animal Shelter provided vaccines and volunteers.
