Flathead Spay & Neuter Task Force and it's Marvin's Fund Community Outreach Program was joined by an outstanding group of businesses and non-profit organizations to assist those citizens of our valley who need us most.

We enjoyed a good camaraderie with fellow volunteers, met many lovely people and their animals and heard some stories that will stay in our hearts.

Approximately one third more families and their animals received our services than last year which appears to support the statistics in Flathead County of a growing homeless community. It has been a privilege to work with the Samaritan House and Community Action Partnership in their efforts to address these concerns.

                            Project Homeless Connect Statistics

89 people/families and their 116 companion animals were helped:
*211 vaccinations were administered by DVMs Kate List and Albert Dorsett.
*3,083 pounds of pet food along and 660 pounds of kitty litter was distributed.
*38 animals (both dogs and cats) were groomed and/or had nails trimmed.
*20 dog and cat beds were given away, and dozens of leashes, collars and harnesses.
*Lots of dog and cat toys, too!
*The Task Force donated 41 spay/neuter certificates (value $1,735.00).
