PROJECT HOMELESS CONNECT 2013

2013 PROJECT HOMELESS CONNECT ANIMAL SERVICES  

 

Approximately 102 attendees came through Pet Services and 10 were Veterans.

 

118 Animals were seen by Robyn Thompson, DVM.

115 animals were given vaccinations - 74 dogs /41 cats.

 

32 dogs and 23 cats were given vouchers for free spay/neuter surgery at the Flathead Spay & Neuter Task Force.

2,000 lbs. of dog and cat food were distributed; along with approximately 100 tennis balls, 30 Frisbees, 30 squeaky toys, 26 animal beds, 20 rope toys, 8 grooming brushes, 12 leashes, and 10 lbs. of treats.

A special thank you goes to the many volunteers from the above-mentioned animal welfare organizations in the Flathead Valley, along with various PHC volunteers, all donating their time and energy each day by assisting attendees and their pets. It was a rewarding day for people and animals. Thank you all for your help in making it so successful.
